Room acoustics,
built into the design

understand·compare·design together.

The first shared, data-driven 3D workflow
for designers, manufacturers and engineers.

Room acoustics that works from day one.

Good acoustics is room quality: for people, use and function. audics connects design, product and specialist planning in one shared workflow — from the very first sketch.

01DesignersUnderstand from the first draft how space, material and use shape the acoustics — and make design decisions with confidence.
02ManufacturersBring your products into the planning early and show their acoustic performance in the actual room.
03EngineersHelp shape acoustics from the very first sketch instead of correcting at the end — with simulation-ready data from the design.

Understand the acoustics of your project in real time.

audics – Nachhallzeit und Kennwerte im Modell prognostizieren

Predict without detours

Calculate reverberation time and sound propagation directly in the 3D model, inside your design environment.

audics – Open-Office-Akustik planen

Plan for more than reverberation time

Understand sound propagation, shielding and speech transmission in open-plan offices and activity-based workplaces.

audics – Akustik hör- und sichtbar machen

Make acoustics heard and seen

Show users and decision-makers how a room sounds and how products perform within the design.

Compare variants, materials and products.

audics – Entwürfe und Nachhallzeiten bewerten

Evaluate design variants

Check rooms, materials and material requirements side by side. Every version stays versioned and reproducible.

audics – Materialien und Produktdaten vergleichen

Work with real product data

Use verified manufacturer data directly in your workflow and assess product performance in the actual room.

audics – Varianten gegen Normen und Anforderungen prüfen

Meet standards and requirements

Check every variant against the target ranges from DIN 18041, ISO 22955, ASR A3.7 and other standards.

Work with everyone involved in the same space.

audics – simulationsfertige Datenmodelle bereitstellen

No manual data transfer

Pass simulation-ready data models and project requirements straight from the design to specialist planning.

audics – SketchUp-Plugin in der eigenen Designumgebung

Your design environment

As a web app in your browser and as a plugin for SketchUp. More plugins and integrations are on the way.

audics – Varianten abstimmen

Decide together

Planners, manufacturers and acousticians see the same state, compare the same variants and document the decision.

“Room acoustics planning needs a shared foundation.”

A foundation where planners understand earlier what their decisions mean acoustically. Where acousticians explain variants faster and put them into professional context. Where manufacturer products are assessed in the context of the actual room. That's what we're building with audics. It complements specialist planning and brings room acoustics into the design earlier.

Developed from real-world room acoustics practice.

Built for design, coordination and handover to specialist planning.

Understandable for non-acousticians and experts alike.

Room acoustics belongs in the design.

That's why we're bringing audics there — starting with the web app and the SketchUp plugin. More plugins and integrations are on the way.

Frequently asked questions.

Does audics replace specialist acoustics planning?

No. audics provides an initial assessment that is transparent and compatible with relevant standards. Formal proofs and approvals remain with specialist planning.

Do I need to be an acoustician to use audics?

No. Results are readable without specialist knowledge. Experts get full access to assumptions, models and data in detail.

Which standards does audics support?

Among others DIN 18041 (acoustic quality in rooms), ISO 22955 (acoustic quality in open-plan offices) and ASR A3.7 (noise in workplaces). Additional national and international standards are already in development.

Where does audics run?

In the browser and as a plugin for SketchUp. More plugins and integrations are on the way.
